HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering high volume incoming calls professionally; booking, rescheduling or canceling patient appointments within the electronic health record (EHR/EMR) system.
  • Transferring clinical or medical questions to the appropriate nursing or medical staff.
  • Logging detailed notes for every patient interaction in the EHR system.
  • Verifiying patient demographic information and insurance coverage. 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Requirements and Skills:

  • 1-2 years of customer service, office or call center experience (healthcare background preferred)
  • Proficiency with computers and medical software.
  • Strong verbal , active listening and de-escalation skills with compassion, empathy and respect, while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality rules.
  • Medical terminology knowledge helpful.
