HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:

  • Supports daily operations across two (2) childcare centers; serve as the central coordination point for administrative tasks, family communication, and classroom support while helping maintain a positive, efficient, nurturing environment.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).

  • Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.

  • Serves as the primary office coordinator for two (2) childcare centers.

  • Performs daily classroom checks; ensures proper ratio compliance.

  • Builds positive relationships with current and prospective parents.

  • Performs miscellaneous duties.

Reports To:

  • Child Care Assistant Director (job code (JC): 669401)

Supervises:

  • None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency). Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) 45-hour training course.

Preferred Education:

  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in early childhood education.  Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.  

Required Experience:

  • One (1) year each of office administration and childcare experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Childcare, preschool, or administrative support experience. 

  • Strong organizational skills.
