Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • The Child Care Provider provides a safe and loving environment for children which fosters positive self-concepts.
  • Responsible for providing day-to-day communication with parents, co-workers and supervisors.


Reports:

  • Director/Child Care Center and the Child Care Assistant Director 

 

Supervises:

  • None

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 45 hour FL Department of Children and Families Introductory Child Care Training course, including passing the competency examination

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development

Required Experience:

  • One (1) year of job-related experience

Preferred Experience:

 

  • Three (3)+ years of job-related experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • None

Preferred Certification/License/Registry:

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
