HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Director of Operations Primary Care, Urgent Care & Rheumatology

Oversight of Primary care outpaitent clinics with over 20 physicians and 20 extenders.  Multi-site clinics within the Tallahassee area and throughout the Big Bend region.  

 

Summary:
Accountable for the overall operational excellence of the clinical and support operations at TMH Physician Partners outpatient clinics. Ensures the achievement of strategies, policies, practices, and initiatives for the practices are in line with the Hospital system goals and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities:
Provide executive leadership for the clinical and support departments.  Oversees the execution of short- and long-term strategies to support practice growth. Accountable for the achievement of goals including employee experience (retention, professional development); patient experience (satisfaction, quality, patient safety); growth (capacity, access, regulatory readiness); and efficiency (labor and patient care costs).
In collaboration with service line/department leadership, develops and implements initiatives to expand and maximize the effectiveness of services based on quality, service, and safety performance improvement targets.
Establishes metrics to assess and measure progress to plans; reports results to appropriate audiences (i.e. Leadership, Medical Staff, management team and front-line staff) and is responsible for ensuring that improvement strategies are in place and implemented.
Oversee and maintain effective and productive relationships with physicians which yield positive outcomes.
Responsible for the overall financial performance for area of responsibility, including appropriate utilization of resources.
Involvement in organization wide projects and committees to ensure integration of services across the system.
Promote the development and implementation of best practices and cultivate a highly effective patient flow process, patient relations, and quality/safety excellence.

Practice Administrators and Operations Managers

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Experience:
Minimum seven (7) years of hospital management experience with a proven track record of success at the senior level in a progressive environment, required.

Education:
Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience, required.
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience as a leadership executive in a large medical group, health plan or other healthcare organization with multiple sites where close working relationships with physicians are essential. The successful candidate must be highly comfortable with day-to-day medical group operations, understand how to bring a physician organization to financial health, continue to grow the organization and build alliances, and operationalize strategy. The new Director must have strong ethics and integrity, proven decision-making ability, superb interpersonal and communication skills, and be collaborative and relational.
