The Postoperative Care Unit is a 44-bed patient care unit providing care for postoperative patients. This primarily includes patients undergoing gynecology, urology, plastic, vascular and general surgical procedures. We care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric age and developmental stage. The majority of patients have a length of stay ranging between 2 to 5 days from admission to discharge depending on diagnosis/procedure performed. The unit is open continuously seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
