HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:

  • Enterprise-wide role. 
  • Develops strategic communications supporting all internal departments, clinical services departments, and physician communications. 
  • Supports the organizational action plan set forth by the Executive Team following the Press Ganey Colleague Survey. 
  • Serves as a strategic advisor; develops strategies to communicate effectively to internal audiences across the organization and provide high-quality, timely, and relevant communications. 
  • Works closely with executive and collaborative leadership, clinical leadership, and communications staff members to develop effective internal initiatives.
  • Provides a systematic and tactical communication approach to ensure the best possible service and effective communication to amplify and strengthen our brand, culture, values and colleague engagement creatively. 
  • Works as part of a team and has frequent contact with colleagues at all organizational levels to ensure timely and proactive communication. 
  • Analyzes complex data. 
  • Develops strong strategic insights and plans supporting effective and measurable communications.

  • Director of Marketing & Communications

  • None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, communications, writing or a related field

 

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) year of writing, editing, and strategic communications experience

 

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • None 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Accomplished writer and editor. 
  • Knowledge of social media and the Intranet. 
  • Familiar with information technology (IT), especially digital and video communication means. 
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 
  • Outstanding follow-through skills. 
  • Skilled in leveraging digital and traditional internal channels to create impactful communications that drive awareness and engagement. 
  • Strategic abilities. 
  • Journalistic ability to source stories from employees. 
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and messages for broad audiences. 
  • Ability to relay organizational goals and values to employees. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to perform with poise under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. 
  • Ability to navigate a complex, fast-paced organization successfully. 
  • Ability to understand tools, techniques, and appropriate mediums to achieve communication strategies.
