HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Location: Tallahassee, FL

 

As the Manager of Marketing and Communications,  you will oversee the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies to achieve the organization’s business goals, enhance service line growth, and maintain a positive public image.

 

The Manager of Marketing and Communications is responsible for: 

  • Manages and mentors team members responsible for service line marketing, media relations, community relations, colleague and physician relations, special events, brand management, publications, and collateral materials.  
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and physician leaders, key internal and external stakeholders, and the Marketing & Communications team to develop and drive marketing and communications strategies.

 

Reports:

  • Director of Marketing & Communications

 

Supervises:

  • PR/Communications Strategist [Communications Strategist]
  • PR/Sr Comm Strategist (JC: 027002) [Senior Communications Strategist]

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, English, marketing, or a related field

 

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years of public relations or marketing experience (including three (3) years of healthcare public relations or marketing experience)

 

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • None 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six (6) years directly related professional experience.  
  • Strong understanding of and experience with healthcare communications.  
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with staff members at all levels. 
  • Seasoned professional.  Flexible. Creative. Highly organized.
