Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Gains sufficient experience, knowledge and skills during a three-year training program to become a competent family physician and to pass the Board examination for the American Board of Family Practice.
  • Provides patient care and other services while learning necessary skills to graduate
  • Completes rotations required by ACGME and developed by Faculty
  • Reads, researches, and presents new knowledge or findings
  • Becomes a licensed physician in the state of Florida, unless prohibited by Florida Statute or other reasons approved by the Residency Director
  • Documents encounters, experiences, procedures, and skills, as they are gained, to support credentialing/certification/ reimbursement.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Post Graduate Degree (M.D., D.O. or equivalent)

Required Experience:

  • No Previous Experience Required

Required Certification/License/Registry:  

  • ECFMG Certification
  • State of Florida Physician Training License or State of Florida Physician License
