HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Director of Primary, Urgent Care & Rheumatology Operations

 

TMH Physician Partners is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our network of practices across Tallahassee, Panama City, and the Big Bend region. This key leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving access, enhancing quality, and supporting the growth of our Primary, Urgent Care and Rheumatology service lines.  This leader will also work in partnership with our Family and Internal Medicine Residency programs, supporting operational elements of our clinical training environments that develop the next generation of physicians and reinforce our commitment to academic excellence

The Director develops and leads a team of Practice Leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.   Closely collaborates with providers, system stakeholders, and fellow Directors across other specialties to ensure coordinated, system-level performance. The role also plays a critical part in advancing our value-based care strategy, including oversight of quality metrics, risk adjustment performance, and payer program alignment.

As a member of the TMH Physician Partners leadership team, the Director will have the opportunity to lead initiatives with impact beyond their overseen specialties—contributing to the transformation of care delivery across the region.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of management-level experience in physician practice operations preferably in a hospital system setting.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration

Required Experience:

  • Eight (8) years of medical office operations experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of how primary care and specialty practices integrate into a complicated health system. 
  • Strategic thinking skills. 
  • Creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to advance the network in growth.
