HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:

  • Supports and assists the Chief Information Officer/VP in planning and implementing strategic business plans, infrastructure, and related matters for computerized IT.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive technology operations strategy aligned with the organization's goals, objectives, and long-term vision.
  • Oversees/manages the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology operations, ensuring effective, efficient IT services delivery.
  • Oversees technology infrastructure (e.g., networks, servers, storage systems, and data centers) planning, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Manages relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring effective partnerships and alignment with business goals.
  • Leads the technology operations budget development, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately to support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintains a highly competent staff to meet the organization’s objectives and strategies.
  • Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
  • Communicates information timely via appropriate channels.
  • Displays an understanding of diversity.
  • Manages departmental budget.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related healthcare field.

Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related healthcare field. 

Required Experience:

  • Ten (10) years of healthcare IT and operations experience, including five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in strategic planning, aligning technology strategies with organizational objectives. 
  • Experience in technology operations management (including infrastructure, systems administration, and IT support). 
  • Experience implementing complex and integrated information systems. 
  • Experience in contract management. 
  • Experience in procurement. 
  • History of successful project management, delivering solutions within budget and on schedule. 
  • Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, systems administration best practices, and emerging industry trends. 
  • Knowledge of healthcare data security, privacy principles, and related regulatory compliance requirements. 
  • Excellent leadership skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to think analytically. 
  • Ability to solve complex problems/issues. 
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Possesses a strong technical foundation.
