Responsibiities:

• Leads Client Services colleagues and assigns tasks.
• Identifies problems/issues and implements resolutions.
• Serves as a “send-out specialist” for specimens that cannot be processed within Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Laboratory Services.
• Reviews and processes specimens to identify and ensure proper and expedited pediatric patient treatments.
• Responsible for investigating and tracking issues and creating Clarity reports.
• Responsible for researching and testing new procedures and technologies applicable to Laboratory Services, Core Lab excepted.
• Working directly with TMH’s Patient Financial Services, processes monthly billing, including (but not limited to) failed bill reports corrections and ensuring proper billing assignments.
• Responsible for the laboratory supply inventory (i.e., monitoring, counting, placing, and storing).
• Serves as the bridge point of contact (POC) between the Client Services and Core groups for implementing updates, updating procedures, and managing issues.
• Clarity reports are created based on issues with specimens received and/or researched, responded to, and a course correction addressed based on issues a department has or had with Laboratory Services.

Required Education:

Associate/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution

Required Experience:

Two (2) years of experience working in a professional environment, including serving in a leadership capacity

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 483 (Health Testing Services), Part I (Clinical Laboratory Personnel)

Required Education:

Associate/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution

Required Experience:

Two (2) years of experience working in a professional environment, including serving in a leadership capacity

Required Certification/License/Registry:
