Supervises members in the aquatic areas of the facility.  Responsible for pool operations and the enforcement of pool rules and ensures safety of all participants.

JOB SUMMARY

Primary Purpose:

To supervise the aquatic areas of the facility.  Responsible for the safety of the swimmers and non-swimmers using the facilities.  Must maintain law and order within the confines of the facility boundaries.  May assist with special programs, events, and duties necessary for quality service. Responsible for maintaining the aquatics area.

Reports:  Program Development and Communications Strategist

Supervises: None

Required Education:  Training required to attain American Red Cross Lifeguard certification

Required Experience:  Prefer one year of lifeguard experience

Required Certification/License/Registry:  American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR certification.
