Oversees administrative, informational, quality assurance (QA), and regulatory compliance. Leads and role models for Medical Imaging Services (a.k.a. Radiology) employees within and outside the organization. Assists in coordinating inspections of both medical and non-medical x-ray equipment. Files inspection reports within established timeframes; reviews the same for accuracy, unreported violations, and completeness; ensures follow-up on identified items (when applicable). Assists in controlling radiation dosimeter badges throughout the organization. Exhibits leadership behaviors consistent with the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) and Medical Imaging Services missions by collaborating with the Director/Medical Imaging Svcs, department managers and supervisors, technologists, and Medical Imaging Services support personnel.

Required Education:
Minimum: Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program. NOTE: Human Resources (HR) may accept a bachelor’s degree in health careadministration, business, or a related field in lieu of the associate degree inradiologic technology.
Required Experience:
Minimum: One (1) years job related experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
None
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business, or related field. Five (5) years of radiologic technologist experience. Certified as a radiologic technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 468 (Miscellaneous Professions and Occupations),Part IV (Radiological Personnel Certification). American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) credential from the National Association forHealthcare Quality (NAHQ).
