Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Upholds patients’ rights, advocates for patients and families, and enhances the overall patient experience continuously.
  • Serves as a patient advocate.
  • Manages patient feedback and suggestions.
  • Serves as a resource to the organization for improving patient satisfaction and the patient experience.
  • Performs duties in accordance with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare’s (TMH) strategic plan and quality improvement (QI) principles.

Reports To:

  • Director/Patient Experience (JC: 019001)

Supervises:

  • None

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Associate degree in health care, social sciences, communication, or a related field.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, social sciences, communication, or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Three (3) years of relevant health care, patient advocacy, patient relations, customer service, or performance improvement experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Administrative skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office. 
  • Skilled in using computer applications in day-to-day functions. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to unite around a common goal. 
  • Possesses a desire to make a difference. 
  • Professional. 
  • Goal oriented. 
  • Detail oriented. 
  • Organized. 
  • Compassionate. 
  • Empathetic.

  • None
