Your Role:

• Position Summary Includes all responsibilities for a Pharmacy Technician II plus ensures the availability of pharmaceutical therapies for patients by managing and maintaining Pyxis automated medication dispensing units and Pyxis medication formulary database.
• Assists with quality improvement strategies by coordinating and participating in pharmacy projects as assigned or requested by the Director of Pharmacy.
• Responsible for coordinating the Pyxis team and participates as an active team member.

Reports To:  

• Assistant Director of Pharmacy

Supervises:  

• May supervise pharmacy technicians 

Required Education:  

• Required Education (HR may substitute directly related experience for required education on a 1:1 basis.) High school diploma or equivalent and Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)

Required Experience:  

• Experience One (1) year of job-related experience.

Preferred Experience: [if applicable]  

• Two (2) to three (3) years of hospital pharmacy experience and Pyxis training

Required Certification/License/Registry:  

• License Florida Board of Pharmacy Technician Certification
