Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is home to the largest and most highly trained team of surgeons in the Big Bend. Offering everything from routine biopsies to complex procedures, TMH performs approximately 18,000 surgeries a year, more than any other facility in the region. Patients referred to TMH for surgery receive the most advanced care from the region’s most experienced team. Our M.T. Mustian Center is equipped with 28 operating rooms and four hybrid interventional suites including two neurovascular interventional radiology rooms and two vascular interventional radiology rooms.

Your Role: 

• This role in conjunction with leadership directs the surgical services leadership team and is responsible for its day-to-day operations.
• Develop comprehensive business plan, and develop, access and pursue opportunities consistent with the business plan, organize, develop and oversee operational and support needs.
• Supervise assigned administrative and medical personnel.
• Manage and direct multiple cost center/departmental activities to accomplish individual unit objectives as well as overall integrated organizational objectives.
• Prepare and assist with all regulatory reviews, ensuring compliance and adherence to hospital and departmental policies, objectives and operational procedures by department heads.
• Direct profit and loss, revenue generation and expenditure control to optimize the utilization of resources at minimum cost.

Required Education:  

• Bachelor's Degree in related field;

Preferred Education:  

• Master's Degree in related field.

Required Experience:  

• Seven (7) years as service line or division manager in major health care organization.
• Strong organizational, communications, team building, analytical and business development skills required.
• Must be committed to change in order to enhance service line and organizational performance.
