Job Summary:
Continuous surveillance of EKG on multiple central station monitors. Monitors heart rhythms of patients in special care units using telemetry equipment. Reports any changes in EKG rate or rhythm monitoring to clinical nurse.

Required Education:
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation program and passing an in-depth arrhythmia-specific test using caliper measurements and evaluation of rhythm changes over time using full disclosure.
