Your Role:

• Is responsible for the daily oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed staff members in the provision of safe and effective home health care (HHC) services.
• Participates in orientation, clinical documentation reviews, home supervisory visits, class instruction, and care conferences.
• Performs other duties (as assigned).

Required Education:

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school

Required Experience:

• Two (2) years of home health nursing experience

Preferred Experience:

• Clinical supervisory experience in a home health agency.
• Ability to follow work process flows.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an accredited American Heart Association (AHA) instructor.
• Florida Class “E” driver license.

A valid driver’s license and driving record that meets or exceeds the requirements of the organization’s current vehicle insurance carrier is required. All certificates and licenses must be kept current as a condition of continued employment. Driving privileges are also subject to periodic review and driving record must remain within acceptable insurability standards as a condition of continued employment.
