In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing appealing and appetizing foods for patients, our cafeteria and catered events
• Ensuring that special diet recipes are followed to ensure that patients receive their proper nutritional requirements
• Following and complying with recipe guidelines and be able to do any other responsibility to help normal operation in the Department
• Following and adhering to all food safety and HACCP guidelines. All HACCP documentation completed throughout preparation
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area, must be able to perform routine cleaning assignments.

Required Education:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Vocational/Technical School Degree
• Human Resources (HR) may accept relevant work experience in lieu of required education on a 1-year to 1-year basis. [NOTE: Experience accepted in lieu of required education will not be applied to the minimum experience requirement below (i.e., the same experience will not be counted twice).]

• Minimum: 1 year; Preferred: experience 2 years
