Job Summary:

• Performs all aspects of electroencephalogram (EEG) related procedures, including clinical EEGs, and video EEG monitoring.
• Participates in rotating “on call” status for “stat” afterhours EEGs. Displays an understanding of diversity.
• Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
• Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
• Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

• Director/Neurodiagnostics

Supervises:

• None

Required Education:

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Accredited electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology course completion. NOTE: Human Resources (HR) may accept one (1) year (full-time or equivalent) of relevant work experience (as defined below) in lieu of the END course requirement, in addition to the minimum required experience below.

Required Experience:

Preferred Experience:

• Five (5) years of END experience.  
• One (1) or more years of experience with long-term video monitoring and advanced EEG procedures.  
• Ability to recognize abnormal waveforms and localization.  
• Ability to identify artifacts [job requires enhancing and editing data before a neurologist views and interprets results].
