Your Role in Our Mission:

From routine breathing treatments to critical cases requiring advanced intervention, you will be challenged to think on your feet and adapt to your patients’ needs.

 

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapy Student to help us continue bringing advanced respiratory care to our patients.

  • Works under the supervision of aManager/Respiratory Care [Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)].
  • Delivers patient care within a defined practice scope; assists patients with daily livingactivities.
  • Maintains an environment conducive to patients’ safety.
  • Supportsachieving recognized world-class health care.
  • Follows all TallahasseeMemorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Actively supports a commitment to TMH’s mission and vision.
  • Consistently displays behaviors in harmony with the ICARE values (integrity, compassion,accountability, respect, and excellence).

Reports:

  • Respiratory Care Manager (JC: 441201)

 Supervises:

  • None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program;
  • Must have successfully completed at least one (1) clinical semester of the core curriculum

Required Experience:

  • None

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understands age-specific needs of the patient population served. 
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Ability to alter job role (as necessary).
