Job Summary:

• Lead an accounting team, ensuring all team members produce accurate, timely financial information to internal and external customers. 
• Act as department liaison to promote effective communication and ensure good customer relations. 
• Complete, assist, review, and improve processes, procedures, and complex account reconciliations.  
• Prepare audit/tax schedules and regulatory reports.  
• Work under minimum supervision.

Reports To:

• Assistant Controller

Supervises:

• None. Leads, but does not directly supervise, an accounting team.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 

Required Experience:

• 3 Years of Accounting Experience

Preferred Experience:

• Four (4) or more years of accounting experience. 
• Accounting software experience. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Spreadsheet skills. 
• Database skills.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• None

Preferred Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 473 (Public Accountancy).
